HIGHLIGHTS OF GATEKEEPERS CONFERENCE

We bring encouragement and anticipation form Pastor Dennis and Sheila Cole who will be here next Fri night—Sun am to minister to women, men and the congregation.
Here are a few quotes from the Gatekeepers Conference we attended which is put on each year by the younger generation.
The disciples cared enough to ask Jesus,
“Why do you only speak to them in parables?”
Love opens hearts to hear Jeremiah Cole: God opens the hearts of those who have compassion - only they can carry God’s covenant heart of love for others. The mark of a disciple is love-only they will be able to hear (Matt 13:10-15). LET’S CHECK OUR CAPACITY TO HEAR
Love opens our minds to revelation and wisdom Jason Sandquist: Love for “all the saints” opens our hearts and minds. Paul gave thanks and prayed they receive the spirit of revelation and wisdom from God (Eph 1:15-17).:
Jason also said that God can accelerate the rate of the speed disciples will mature when they love others.

CHECK OUR LOVE FOR ALL PEOPLE
“Revelation isn’t meant for the betterment of our life but for us to be in right relationship with God and worship Him.” John Mark used the story of the man born blind whom Jesus healed with spit and mud without explaining anything to him. After he was throw out of the synagogue though Jesus found him, revealed himself as Messiah and the man saw him and worshipped.
IS OUR HEART FULLY WORSHIPPING JESUS
We came forward for communion at each of the four sessions and had many times of prayer for one another.
Saturday we listened to God then went on Treasure Hunts to pray for others.
